The next step is to get a picture. I like to add at least one graphic to my blog posting. This makes the article a little bit more interesting for people. In addition, I believe that it helps with my ranking because Google believes that articles with graphics and videos are less likely to be spam content.
For this step, I go to Creative Commons and search for a picture of “dr phil.” Found one. I then download the picture to my desktop.

If you don’t have a folder called images on your site already, go ahead a create one. This is where you will store all of your photos. I create my images folder right off of my main directory.
Uploading the picture is easy. I drag the picture from my desktop directly into my images folder.
That’s it, you’re done with this step.
Next, I will show you how to create a blog post that will get indexed and ranked on the first page of Google. The best part is that the page appears on the first page of Google search results only 28 minutes after I published the post!
