This layer identifies what official sources and direct submissions state, with the source available for inspection.
Calculated evidence
This layer separates reproducible calculations from the underlying inputs, so readers can see what was measured and how.

This layer makes Alex's judgment explicit: owner-operator fit, the right probation, governance boundaries, and the next action.
From evidence to a decision
Evidence is not a verdict. Alex's editorial lens considers whether a system fits the economic job, constraints, and operating reality of an owner-operated business.
- Probation before commitment
- A useful recommendation names a bounded test before a broader rollout: the work to try, the people involved, and the decision it is meant to inform.
- Yardsticks that match the work
- The yardstick should be legible to the owner: time, quality, risk, or an outcome the team can observe before deciding what changes next.
- Governance stays with people
- Approval boundaries, accountability, and exceptions are part of the recommendation. Automation does not remove the need for an owner to decide what may proceed without review.
A recommendation has a shelf life
Publication dates and freshness dates help distinguish what was known when a page was prepared from what may have changed since. When a material error or omission is identified, the record should be corrected with the change made clear rather than silently rewritten.
