CEO of AI Staff
How Business Leaders Build, Train, and Lead AI Employees for Real Work
A practical operating guide for owner-CEOs, owner-operators, department heads, and business-unit leaders who want AI to perform real work under clear human authority.
Who this book is for
This book is for leaders responsible for turning a business goal into dependable work—not merely adopting another piece of software.
It gives owner-operators and business leaders a shared operating language for defining an AI role, testing it under real conditions, and deciding when it has earned greater trust.
The operating sequence
See. Design. Hire on Probation. Lead.
01
See
Identify the work, constraint, and evidence before choosing a tool.
02
Design
Define the AI seat, operating boundaries, and standard for useful work.
03
Hire on Probation
Test the seat under bounded conditions before expanding access or dependence.
04
Lead
Review evidence, handle exceptions, and retain human authority for consequences.
Why I wrote it
AI is often presented as a catalog of tools. Leaders still have to decide what work matters, what authority the system receives, and what evidence makes its output dependable.
I wrote CEO of AI Staff to make those management decisions practical: define the seat, establish boundaries, test before expanding, and keep human accountability where the consequences live.
